RadarScope is a comprehensive display utility designed for weather enthusiasts and meteorologists. It provides access to NEXRAD Level 3 and Level 2 radar data, as well as various weather warnings and storm tracks issued by the U.S. National Weather Service. The software supports real-time display of reflectivity, velocity, dual-polarization, and other radar products from NEXRAD and TDWR radar sites across the United States, Guam, Puerto Rico, Korea, and Okinawa. Additionally, it offers data from international radar sources such as Environment Canada, Australian Bureau of Meteorology, Finnish Meteorological Institute, and German Weather Service.

What sets RadarScope apart is its ability to render native radar data in its original radial format, providing users with a high level of detail. Whether you're analyzing mesocyclones, eye walls of hurricanes, or small features like velocity couplets, RadarScope's true radial weather radar data ensures accurate observations.

Not only does RadarScope display a wide range of weather warnings issued by the U.S. National Weather Service, but it also allows users to browse the list of active warnings and obtain detailed information about each warning directly on the map. The software supports easy navigation through pinch or stretch zoom gestures and offers the option to scroll by dragging your finger around the map. Users can quickly switch between different radars using the radar sweep button in the toolbar and select from over 289 radars across various locations.

RadarScope offers many convenient features such as plotting your current location on the map, playing animated sequences of recent radar images, displaying the names of thousands of cities and towns as you zoom and scroll, and providing data values when you tap and hold the color legend. The software also intelligently retrieves updated data at regular intervals ranging from 2 to 10 minutes depending on the selected radar scan strategy.

In terms of data sources, RadarScope allows users to display radar data from its own servers, NOAA's public access website, or their Allison House subscriber account. Members of the Spotter Network can report their location and view the positions of other spotters.

RadarScope Pro is an optional auto-renewing subscription that offers two tiers of advanced features. Tier One provides access to real-time animated lightning data, up to 30 frames of radar data (including extended loops of super-resolution data), a data interrogation tool for specific radar pixels, and a dual-pane mode for side-by-side viewing of two radar products. Tier Two combines all features in Tier One with additional benefits like 50-frame loops, SPC outlooks, special weather statements, mesoscale discussions, local storm reports, hail size and probability contours, azimuthal shear contours in the U.S., a 30-day archive of all radar products, a 2-year archive of NEXRAD Level 3 radar products, and a full historical archive of NEXRAD Level 2 products. Subscribers to RadarScope Pro can enjoy these features across multiple platforms.

The subscription will automatically renew within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the same price as your initial purchase.
